Hiroshi Midorikawa (緑川 宏 Midorikawa Hiroshi) is a Goalkeeper for East Tokyo United.
At 33 years old, Midorikawa is ETU's oldest player.
Naturally, goalkeeper Dori has a close relationship with centerbacks Yusaku Sugie and Kazuki Kuroda. On and off the soccer field, Dori, Sugie and Kuroda talk with each other a lot.
In the past, Dori played for Shimizu Impulse and Dori was a Japan National Team member and played for Japan in the 1998 and 2002 World Cups. In the 2002 World Cup, he played side-by-side with Takeshi Tatsumi
Understandably, Dori is annoyed by the current National Team goalkeeper, Hoshino, who has youthful strength and genius-level soccer skills, but excessive arrogance and poor manners.
Midorikawa was ETU's starting goalkeeper for every match until he suffered an ankle fracture during ETU's 19th League match against Wissel Kobe. Doctors have evaluated that Midorikawa would be out for 3 months due to the ankle fracture[2]. Up until his injury, he was the only ETU player alongside Daisuke Tsubaki to have played every minute available.
Personality[]
Dori is a calm, wise and friendly guy. He's mostly serious but sometimes likes to tease his team mates. He also reacted fastest when Yuri collapsed.
Alongside Shigeyuki Murakoshi, Midorikawa is seen as one of the most influential ETU player in the locker room.
